The Winds of Change

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing; that’s what anyone who hasn’t had a child will tell you. While, yes, you do have a little miracle in your hands now, you don’t exactly feel like the most beautiful thing in the world. No one really focuses on the aftermath of conception, pregnancy, and birth.

What happens to you during your pregnancy? The most obvious thing would be weight gain. Gaining weight during pregnancy is good for your baby, but perhaps not so good for yourself in some cases. While many women would welcome a bubbly new rear, shapelier hips, or a fuller bra, the truth is most women don’t rely on this to make them feel sexy post baby.

After carrying a child and going through the birthing process, many women feel that no subject is too taboo to speak of. Consider this: many women believe that breastfeeding is what’s best for your baby; it also wreaks havoc on your body. Breast implants or breast augmentation might be worth considering.

After birth is a rough time for a mother to center herself and feel whole and sexy again. Implants can add that little boost of confidence a woman needs in order to regain her poise. With breastfeeding in mind, you’ll begin to lose that weight you gained during pregnancy. Unfortunately, breastfeeding also wreaks havoc on your body, and you might just find yourself at the end of an unfortunate path that might leave your confidence deflated.

Defeated, many new mothers succumb to depression and what’s referred to as “Baby Blues.” Sometimes these feelings just won’t go away, but much of the time they are temporary. Consider the boost to your ego when your husband tells you how sexy you look, or how you’ll fill your clothes out in all the right places.
